Likeke Falls Trail

East Side

Likeke Falls is a hidden gem tucked away beneath the Koʻolau Mountains, offering a serene and easy hike to a beautiful two-tiered waterfall. This trail is perfect for families and those who want a quick adventure without the crowds of other popular hikes. It’s shaded, peaceful, and offers that lush rainforest vibe we love so much. If you’re traveling with kids, they’ll enjoy the short walk, and the waterfall makes a great reward at the end!

  • Length: 1 mile round trip (about 30 minutes to 1 hour).

  • Difficulty: Easy (mostly flat with some rocky areas).

  • Parking: Park at the Koʻolau Golf Club for free, but be mindful of signs and park in designated areas only.

  • Trail Conditions: The trail can get muddy after rain, so wear shoes with good grip.

  • What to Bring: Bug spray, water, and a camera for waterfall photos.

  • Crowds: This trail is less crowded than others, making it a peaceful outing.

  • Kids: Perfect for kids due to its short length and gentle terrain. They’ll love exploring near the waterfall but make sure to supervise them on the rocks.
