Located on Oahu's famous North Shore, Sunset Beach is a must-visit destination for its breathtaking sunsets, golden sands, and legendary surf. During the winter months, it’s a world-renowned hotspot for big wave surfing competitions, while the summer brings calmer waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. This beach is perfect for relaxing, taking in the natural beauty, or enjoying a leisurely stroll along the shoreline.


Parking is across the street, along with bathrooms. 

  • Lifeguards on Duty: Yes, lifeguards are present, but always check with them about current conditions.

  • Amenities: Limited restrooms and showers are available. Be prepared to bring your own snacks and water, as amenities nearby are minimal.

  • Nearby Eats: Stop by Ted’s Bakery for a famous chocolate haupia pie or head into Haleiwa Town for a variety of dining options.
