Queen’s Beach is the go-to spot in Waikiki for beginner surfers. Long, gentle waves and a sandy bottom provide the perfect environment for learning to surf. Located in the heart of Waikiki, this beach offers easy access to surf schools and board rentals.


You should get an early surf lesson to have more waves for yourself and avoid the crowd. Friends and family can watch from the beach, but don't let kids play on the shore break in case of a rouge surfboard. 


Renting or buying a rashguard is highly recommended. Not only does it provide protection from the sun, but it also helps prevent surf rash caused by friction between your skin and the surfboard.
